The Soma is a compact self-watering planter designed for small spaces and long-lasting hydration.
Built with an integrated water reservoir and passive wicking system, it can keep tropical houseplants hydrated for up to a month between refills, depending on plant size and environment.
If you need a reliable way to water plants while on vacation, maintain greenery at your desk, or simplify plant care in tighter living spaces, Soma delivers consistent moisture without constant attention.
Small footprint. Serious performance.
Designed for Desks, Offices, and Small Spaces
The Soma is especially well-suited for:
• Office desks
• Apartment living
• Shelves and window ledges
• Conference rooms
• Watering plants while traveling
• Low-maintenance plant setups
Because water is delivered gradually through capillary action, roots receive steady hydration rather than cycles of overwatering and drying out.
Refill timing depends on plant type and light conditions, but many setups can go up to a month before needing more water.
How the Self-Watering System Works
Water sits in the lower reservoir. As the plant uses moisture, it is drawn upward into the structured substrate through capillary action.
The substrate maintains airflow while distributing moisture evenly, creating a stable root environment with significantly reduced maintenance.
Substrate Options – Choose Your Growing Strategy
Customize your Soma with one of two Mossari wicking substrate blends.
Enriched Wicking Substrate – Added Nutrient Support
Formulated for stronger early growth and fuller foliage.
Includes:
• Coco coir for balanced moisture retention
• Perlite for oxygen flow
• Worm castings for gentle nutrient support
• Kelp meal for trace minerals
• Neem meal for organic matter support
• Gypsum for calcium and structural stability
Ideal for growers who want nutrient support built directly into the root zone.
Inert Wicking Substrate – Full Feeding Control
Includes:
• Coco coir
• Coco chips
• Perlite
No added fertilizers.
Best for growers who prefer liquid fertilization or precise nutrient control.
