Philodendron Pink Princess Medium – A Collector’s Favorite with Striking Pink Variegation
Philodendron Pink Princess is an iconic and highly sought-after variegated Philodendron, featuring deep green leaves splashed with bright pink patches. This medium-sized variety is perfect for those who want a manageable, visually striking Philodendron.
A Bold Statement Plant with Unique Variegation
- Features dark green leaves with pink, cream, and burgundy streaks, making each leaf unique.
- The intensity of pink variegation depends on light exposure, making proper lighting essential.
- A climbing Philodendron, benefiting from a moss pole for support.
How to Care for Philodendron Pink Princess
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light—too much shade may reduce variegation.
- Watering: Keep soil slightly moist, allowing the top 1-2 inches to dry before watering.
- Humidity: Requires high humidity (above 60%) for the best foliage appearance.
- Soil: A chunky, well-draining mix with orchid bark and perlite ensures healthy roots.
- Fertilization: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks for optimal growth.
Aerial Roots and Climbing Growth
- Develops long aerial roots, allowing it to climb trellises or moss poles.
- Regular pruning encourages bushy growth and balanced variegation.
With its stunning pink variegation, climbing habit, and easy-care routine, Philodendron Pink Princess remains a must-have for rare plant collectors.
