philodendron joepie for sale Philodendron joepiiPhilodendron joepii (pronounced you pee eye) is named after the Dutch botanist Joep Moonen. It is a rare, tri lobed, pointy leaved green philodendron that is said to be almost extinct in the wild and up until very recently was also extremely rare in cultivation. Luckily these plants have become such a hit with aroid collectors due to their unique leaf shape that they are (sliiiiightly) easier to come by these days! They are definitely still considered
Philodendron joepii (pronounced you-pee-eye) is named after the Dutch botanist Joep Moonen. It is a rare, tri-lobed, pointy-leaved green philodendron that is said to be almost extinct in the wild and up until very recently was also extremely rare in cultivation. Luckily these plants have become such a hit with aroid collectors due to their unique leaf shape that they are (sliiiiightly) easier to come by these days! They are definitely still considered very rare collector plants, and they still fetch a pretty penny. This plant has leaves that have to be seen to be believed, so I added a picture of a mature joepii looks like next to the picture of the actual plant we have on offer.
Care is similar to all other philodendrons - all it plenty of gentle bright light, and allow to approach dry between waterings.

The Mitt is it.
I ordered the applicator because the Poli Glow Kit on hand was ordered and received a couple of years ago and it had the old chamois covered rectangular applicator. I could tell by looking that the mitt was the better solution. Also, the mitt was described well in an online video, so using it was easy to learn. The results were fantastic and I am very pleased with it.
The only thing I would change is to add some more information on how often to replenish the mitt and with how much Poli Glow liquid. I wasn't sure if I was skimping or wasting the material. As I approached halfway, I couldn't tell if I was going to run out before I finished, so I tried to be as frugal as possible. Turns out, I had liquid left over.

Works much better than the original applicator which left streaks and overlaps. Much easier to use on contours and crevices.
