Micronized Diatomaceous Earth with Silica and Boron Synergy
Dia-Life Organic™ is a premium, micronized diatomaceous earth (DE) formulation containing approximately 90% amorphous silica. Unlike crystalline quartz, amorphous silica poses no health risk and delivers plant-available silicon that strengthens cell walls, supports reproductive development, and enhances crop quality. The DE base consists of fossilized remains of diatoms — single-celled aquatic plants — providing not only silicon but also a wide range of micronutrients for complete plant support.
Silicon plays a critical role in photosynthesis, water regulation, and plant resilience, acting as a natural tonic for stress mitigation. This formula also includes boron (≈0.70%), which works as a synergist with silica to boost flowering, fruit set, and reproductive function. The result is improved crop structure, higher yields, and enhanced plant health across diverse systems from turf and pastures to horticultural and broadacre crops.
Key Benefits
- Australian Certified Organic (ACO) Registered Farm Input 456AI
- Micronized for maximum silica availability and rapid uptake
- Increases yield, quality, flowering, and fruit-set
- Strengthens cell walls, improving crop resilience and stress tolerance
- Ideal for turf, pastures, sugarcane, and broadacre crops
- Includes boron as a silica synergist to support reproductive growth
Application Rates
| Crop | Foliar Spray Rate | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Horticultural Crops / Turf | 1 L per 100 L water (up to 5 L/ha) | Every 2–4 weeks or as required |
| Broadacre Crops | 2–3 L/ha in 60–100 L water | As required |
| Pasture | 2–3 L/ha in 60–100 L water | As required |
| Spot Spraying | 50 mL per 10 L water | As required |
- Fertigation: 5–20 L/ha as required
- Liquid Inject: 1–2 L/ha
- Home Garden: Dilute 45 mL per 9 L watering can and apply at 1 L/m² every 2–4 weeks
- Dilution: Minimum 1 part product to 3 parts water. Adjust based on crop, soil type, and spacing.
Always base application rates on reliable soil test data and consider nitrogen and phosphorus requirements for starters.
