Description
stool for indoor plant Lily Pad Frog Garden StoolA green frog holding up a flat lily pad the pond life version of the same functional design as our Gnome Toadstool Stool. At 15" tall and 15 lbs in weatherproof composite, the flat lily pad top works as a side table, a plant pedestal, or a stable seat for kids and occasional adult use. The design draws naturally from water garden imagery, which makes it especially well suited to backyards that already have a pond, fountain, or other water feature.

Like the rest of this series, the practical detail that makes the piece work is the flat top — most frog-and-lily garden ornaments are purely decorative, but this one is engineered as a functional surface. The 15 lb weight gives it a low center of gravity and the kind of stability that lets a child sit on it without parents worrying. The UV-resistant outdoor finish keeps the hand-painted green coloring stable through full sun and rain exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this compare to the Gnome Toadstool Stool?
Both are 15" tall, both use the same composite material and three-in-one functional design with a flat top. The difference is theme: Gnome Toadstool is fairy-tale cottagecore (red mushroom cap, blue-tunic gnome); this Frog version is pond and water-garden themed (green frog, flat lily pad). Same price, same construction, different aesthetic. Many gardens use both as a paired set.
Can an adult actually sit on it?
Yes. At 15 lbs of composite material with a low center of gravity and flat seating surface, it's structurally engineered to support adult weight for short-duration seating. Most commonly used as a kids' garden seat, but it handles occasional adult use as well — at a fire pit, while gardening, or as overflow seating.
Will the green color fade outdoors?
The UV-resistant protective coating significantly slows fading compared to standard outdoor paint. The bright hand-painted green will soften gradually over years of full sun exposure — this is normal weathering and tends to make the piece look more naturally integrated into a garden setting over time.
