The sweet fragrance of the Sambac Jasmine is one you’ll remember year after year. The national flower of the Philippines is only about the size of a dime, but there are lots of them on this vining-shrub and they're wonderfully fragrant. You'll be happy to invite them into your garden. This Jasmine is widely used in perfumes, oils and even teas.
Hardy to zone 9, but if you grow this beauty in a container and keep it protected from the cold, it is known to bloom year round! Just bring it indoors when the temperatures drop.
Bright light and even watering from spring through fall is ideal, but you should let the soil dry a bit between waterings in winter. Use a standard houseplant fertilizer weekly during the growing season for best results.
