Philodendron Brandtianum Silver Leaf Plant Care

Philodendron Brandi is a low-maintenance plant, making it perfect for those new to indoor gardening. To keep your mature or growing Philo Brandtianum looking its best, it's important to follow a few care guidelines.

Watering

Philodendron Brandtianum prefers to be kept consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water it thoroughly once a week and allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again.

This plant thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can cause the silver leaves to become scorched, so be sure to place it near a window with filtered light.

Temperature

Philodendron Brandi is a tropical plant that prefers warm temperatures between 60°F and 90°F. Avoid placing it near cold drafts or air conditioning vents.

Soil and Repotting

Philodendron Brandtianum prefers a well-draining potting mix. Repot it once a year in the spring, or when it becomes root-bound.

Humidity

Philodendron Brandtianum loves high humidity, so be sure to mist it regularly or place a humidifier nearby.

Fertilizer

Your Philodendron Brandi benefits from regular fertilizing during its growing season, typically from spring to fall. Use a balanced liquid fertilizer every two weeks.

Growth rate

This plant grows relatively slowly, but with proper care, it can reach up to 2 feet in height.

Common Pests

Philodendron Brandtianum is relatively resistant to pests, but it can be susceptible to mealybugs, spider mites, and scale insects. Regularly inspect the plant and promptly remove any pests to keep your Philodendron Brandi healthy.

Outstanding, top of the line diaper!
Size: Size 1, Unit Count: 252
We normally use Huggies Little Movers with our 3.5 year old (nothing against them, they're also great diapers) but recently decided to give Swaddlers a try, and will not be going back. This is a top-of-the-line diaper and excels in all ways. We use a size 7 though could *probably* get away with a size 6, and use about 4-5 diapers a day on average (not including his overnight diaper) depending on how much he's had to drink and how often he poops -usually once a day, but could be as many as 3 times, especially if he doesn't go one day. The first thing you notice about these diapers is how soft they are. I mean, they just feel like they would be comfortable on a child, and since they're in them practically 24/7, that's important. The diaper is mostly white, and the overall designs are more muted than a lot of other diapers, with "Shilo and Friends" -an elephant and duck - on the front and back. I personally wouldn't mind something bolder, I don't think my child cares or even notices. There is a wetness indicator that goes down the length of the diaper, front and back. Nice to have I suppose for a caregiver who maybe doesn't change a lot of diapers, but at this age and stage, it's easy to know and tell. Like all Pampers diapers, they are scented. I happen to love the gentle powder-like scent, but it's a turn-off to some who describe it as too strong, and of course, if your child is sensitive to that, you may want to avoid Pampers diapers. Inside, the top sheet liner keeps his skin dry, even when he wets heavily -which is usually - and does a good job of keeping poop from sticking to his bottom. The "blowout barrier" in the back also helps contain any messes. In terms of absorbency, I'm pretty amazed at how much they can hold. Being a little older, he tends to stay drier for longer periods and then pee a larger amount at one time, but the diaper almost always holds it in, and leaks are rare. The one thing I wish that Pampers did do was have wider tapes, like Huggies, at least on the larger sizes, where kids are more active. It hasn't been a problem, so I don't really have a reason for saying that, other than that it seems like it would help with fit, but it certainly won't keep me from buying or using them in the future.

History of Egypt
Format: Kindle
Egypt has played a vital role throughout history. This book traces and evaluates the history of Egypt from ancient times until the modern period. During ancient times, the Pharaohs created a strong Egypt. During the Ottoman times, Egypt played a significant role as a regional power. Both French and British played a vital role in Egyptian politics. The Suez canal put Egypt, an important player in world commerce. The Nasser regime entered Egypt into cold world politics. The USA managed under Sadat to place Egypt at the American camp. Eventually, Egypt was the first Arab country to sign a peace treaty with Israel after various brutal wars. Egyptian culture dominated western civilization throughout the centuries. The reader will enjoy this book.

Great summary of Egyptian history
Format: Kindle
The book is—as the subtitle states—an “Overview of Egyptian History.” The book is a brief summary of Egypt’s long and interesting history. It starts with historical events: who were the rulers? What territories did Egypt conquer? Who conquered Egypt. The second part of the book discusses social, economic, and religious history. This primer lays out all of the above topics but with little detail so the reader may wish to select topics of interest to study in further depth elsewhere. Because Egypt’s history includes millennia, I find it hard to understand, so reading this book was valuable to me. The book is written in a style that makes it easy to read. It is not at all dry as some textbooks can be. I recommend this book to anyone who wants an overview of Egyptian history and look forward to reading other books in the series.
