Lavender ‘Avice Hill’ is a compact, rounded English lavender originally brought from New Zealand and loved for its sweet fragrance and tidy growth habit. The plant forms a well-shaped shrub that looks good even when not in bloom, making it as valuable for structure as it is for flowers.
Its thick, dark purple flower spikes are longer than many English lavenders and appear most heavily in early summer, followed by lighter blooming throughout the rest of the season. This gives ‘Avice Hill’ a long presence in the garden and multiple opportunities for light harvesting.
With its balanced size, strong fragrance, and steady performance, ‘Avice Hill’ is well suited for gardens, borders, containers, and small harvests, offering a classic English lavender look without becoming unruly.
