Hoya kerrii 'Heart Hoya' develops thick, succulent heart-shaped green leaves on sturdy vining stems. Young plants are often grown with a few prominent hearts at the front of the pot, and over time the stems extend and climb when given support. Flowers are cream to soft pink with deeper centres, carried in rounded clusters once the plant is mature.
The plant grows steadily in bright filtered light and warm indoor conditions, with a lightly drying cycle between waterings. Its thick leaves and slow, compact growth respond best to an airy, free-draining mix and gentle feeding through the warmer months. It is a long-lived plant suited to growers who enjoy slow, steady progress.
