MIni Jade 2 isn’t a single specific species name — it generally refers to Crassula plants that have yellow-toned leaves (either naturally or due to sun exposure). These succulents belong to the Crassulaceae family, the same group as Jade plants (Crassula ovata).
🌞 Common Types of Yellow Crassula Succulents
- Crassula ovata ‘Hummel’s Sunset’ (Golden Jade Plant)
- Probably the most popular “yellow” Crassula.
- Features green leaves with yellow and red margins, especially when exposed to bright light.
- Grows into a small shrub-like plant.
- In winter, it often turns more golden and red.
- Crassula perforata ‘Variegata’ (String of Buttons Variegated)
- Has stacked, triangular leaves with creamy-yellow or light-green variegation.
- The edges can blush pink under the sun.
- Forms pretty trailing or upright stems.
- Crassula pellucida subsp. marginalis ‘Calico Kitten’ (Variegated Crassula)
- Small heart-shaped leaves with yellow, pink, and green tones.
- Excellent for hanging pots or ground cover.
- Color intensifies with sunlight.
- Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’
- Leaves start lime-green and turn bright yellow-orange to red in full sun.
- A favorite for its dramatic color transitions.
🌿 Why Some Crassulas Turn Yellow
- Sunlight exposure: Many Crassulas develop yellow or golden tones when they get plenty of direct light — this is healthy “stress coloring.”
- Temperature stress: Cooler temperatures can enhance yellow and red pigments.
- Nutrient or water issues: If leaves turn dull yellow and soft, it could mean overwatering or nutrient deficiency, not coloration.
🌱 Care Tips for Crassula Yellow Succulents
- Light: Bright, indirect to full sunlight (4–6 hours daily).
- Soil: Well-draining succulent/cactus mix.
- Water: Only when soil is completely dry — overwatering causes root rot.
- Temperature: Prefers 18–25°C (65–77°F); protect from frost.
- Fertilizer: Monthly feeding during spring–summer with diluted succulent fertilizer.

Beautiful, functional, and perfect for a stylish coffee bar
I absolutely love this scale. As someone who cares about both function and aesthetics, this was exactly what I was looking for. It’s refreshing to find a high-quality kitchen tool that doesn’t force you to sacrifice the look of your space. The white and gold design is stunning and fits perfectly on my coffee bar without looking bulky or industrial.
Functionally, it works flawlessly. I primarily use it to measure my coffee beans, but I’ve also used it for other items, and it’s consistently accurate and easy to use. The size is perfect — compact enough to keep out on the counter without taking up space, yet large enough to be practical and stable.
The display is clear, the buttons are responsive, and the overall build feels solid and well made. I also appreciate how intuitive it is to use — no learning curve at all.
If you’re someone who loves a beautiful, cohesive kitchen setup but still wants reliable, quality tools, I would highly recommend this scale. It’s small, stunning, and performs exactly as it should.

Great scale, an excellent buy
Color: Black&Silver
Is it possible to fall in love with a scale? I unboxed this one and, without reading any directions, put an empty 1/4 cup on it, turned the scale on, filled the 1/4 cup with coffee beans till I had the desired 17 or so grams, and turned the scale off. Easy-peasy! It’s small but sensitive, able to tell when a single bean has been added or removed. I almost didn’t get it because of the charging issue, but at least it tells you what the current charge is, and the way I use it I believe it will last several months without recharging. I’m so glad I bought this scale!

Simple yet easy must have for discerning coffee drinkers
Color: Black&Silver
I seem to never get the same results from my coffee machine and it varied even more with the new brand that we just bought. I now have to make more adjustments with the water temperature, based on age, type of beans, etc. That affects the amount of ground dispensed and consistency in the shot until I get a new batch dialed in.
So the only way to regulate these changes is to weigh both the beans and water. Using this little scale has made things easier, less frustrating and more predictable.
What’s awesome is that it will automatically begin the timer with the first drop and stop when the pressure remains constant.
Simple yet easy and super convenient. If you are looking for a great little digital scale this should do the trick. Highly recommended.

Great Digital Scale!!
Color: Black&Silver
The Maestri House S2 scale has been clutch for dialing in my espresso shots. Memphis heat or not, this thing stays accurate and steady. The timer starts up quick, the readings are fast, and the compact size fits perfectly under my Breville without feeling cramped. It’s built solid, charges by USB‑C, and the precision really shows when you’re trying to get that perfect pull.

Has fit perfectly into my morning espresso
Color: Black&Silver
This seems to me to be an excellent small kitchen scale. I am new to the complexities of espresso making and have begun using this scale every morning to measure my dose and output. It is working just fine. Easy to operate, keep clean and store. I did not give it 5 stars because I have limited comparisons but I don’t expect and will not bother looking for anything better.
