🌞 Light & Placement
Thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain its deep colouring. Avoid direct sun to prevent leaf scorching. Ideal for living rooms with filtered light or north/east-facing windows.
💧 Water & Humidity
Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Loves high humidity (60–80%), making it ideal for European homes with humidifiers or grouped plants. Mist regularly to keep foliage fresh.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Prefers airy, chunky aroid mixes with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir for healthy roots. Repot every 1–2 years as it climbs rapidly.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of curious cats, dogs, and small children.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
A fast climber with velvety stems. Propagate via stem cuttings in water or moss for best success. Perfect for sharing with fellow plant lovers or expanding your indoor jungle.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
Grows actively spring to autumn. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to maximise photosynthesis. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows.
🐛 Common Issues
Watch for spider mites and thrips in drier conditions. Increase humidity and inspect leaf undersides weekly to prevent infestations.
