Say goodbye to the guesswork in plant watering. The Blumat Digital Moisture Meter is your ultimate companion, providing precise digital readings of your plant's moisture levels. Perfect for both novice gardeners and experienced horticulturists, this tool helps ensure your plants get just the right amount of water, at just the right time.
Key Features:
Precision Hydration: The Blumat Digital Moisture Meter measures moisture levels on a scale from 0 mbar (completely wet) to 250 mbar (very dry), providing clear, easy-to-understand readings. BuildASoil Living Soil Target is 40-80 mbar.
Specifically designed for potting soil like BuildASoil.
Ease of Use: The moisture meter is designed for simplicity.
1. Soak the Bottom half for 15 minutes
2. Make sure tube is completely full and install the digital reading top.
3. Insert into soil (wait 15 minutes) and then press the power button to get a reading.
Notice: Best to wait 10-20 minutes for accurate reading or when reading stops moving.
Versatility: No matter if you're maintaining houseplants, a vegetable garden, or a commercial growing operation, the Blumat Digital Moisture Meter delivers reliable results for all types of plants and pottings soils.
How It Works:
The Blumat Digital Moisture Meter operates as a tensiometer, indicating moisture levels by correlating to pressure within the ceramic sensor. This sensor, when inserted into your growing medium, interacts with the pressure exerted by the moisture in the medium. Dryer mediums pull harder on the water inside the sensor, while moist mediums exert less pressure.
