Origin: Aglaonema is native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia.
Growth: This plant has moderate growth and can reach a height of 50 to 70 cm. It grows in compact clumps, ideal for pots and planters.
Flowers: Aglaonema 'Wishes' produces small, inconspicuous spadix flowers, similar to those of other members of the Araceae family. However, these flowers are usually insignificant compared to its colorful foliage.
Light: This plant prefers moderate to low indirect light. It tolerates low light conditions well, but its colors will be more vibrant in bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist, allowing the top layer of the substrate to dry out between waterings. In winter, reduce watering frequency to avoid excess moisture.
Substrate: Use a well-draining houseplant potting mix rich in organic matter. Good drainage is crucial to prevent root rot.
Toxicity: Aglaonema 'Wishes' is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children and pets.
