A Christmas wreath is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas. Moreover, the circle symbolises life, and what better way to celebrate life than with a living wreath. But one doesn't need a special occasion to enjoy the beauty of a living wreath, they can be used to liven up any space for whatever purpose. 

This small, local business celebrates and promotes the potential of succulent gardening, as a natural consequence of living in a dry country, and because their many adaptations result in a diversity of colours and textures, which lend themselves to creative and waterwise gardening. Growing succulents is an innovative alternative to traditional gardening. Each product is handmade, carefully considered, and unique using seasonally available succulents. Each product is handmade, carefully considered, and unique using seasonally available succulents. Each wreath varies, and so the pictures you see here are only a few examples of the variety Hanlie creates. Each wreath is different. 


CARE INSTRUCTIONS


Plants are real and growing - planted in soil. Give them about ten days to settle during which time it is better to leave them where there is shade/natural light but no direct sunlight. After ten days, bring them out into the sun. They love sun! The more the better. Sun brings out their vibrant colours. Minimum requirement: natural light.
Watering - once a week for 3 weeks in a row. After that once a month.
Water by submerging your creation in a big enough basin/container for 1 to 2 minutes at a time. This is the gentlest and most thorough way of watering. You want the water to get to the roots, without damaging the coir that covers the soil.

Let your plants grow wild and when the time comes, break your wreath apart (cut and remove the fishing line) and transplant them to pots or to your garden.

To water: completely submerge in basin or big enough bowl for a few minutes until all the bubbles have gone (air has escaped). Do this weekly for 3 weeks to make sure your succulent creation has settled. If your sphere is too big/heavy to submerge in water, use a garden hose and gently water from the top. Catch the run-off in a bucket and re-use the water.

Fantastic Foam and Spectacular Steamer
Best electric steamer/frother evvveerrrrr! I've had several froth/steamers over the years and this is the BEST one by far. It's compact, quiet, and makes thick gorgeous foam. It's really easy to use and the color coding is so clever because you always know what the dial is set on. It's super functional and has four options for mixing ability. You just dial to one of your four choices (thick foam, light foam, hot but no foam for say hot chocolate, and cold foam for iced drinks) and push and about two mins later, it's done. It's very compact and takes up almost no space on my kitchen counter. The blue base is also very pretty and the canister is easy to clean. Bonus is that you get two mixer pieces, the second one easily stores under the base. I use oat and almond milks primarily, and I get great results with thick foam! Love this little froth/steamer!!

Failed Shortly After Purchase and Required Too Much Effort to Resolve
This product was purchased as a holiday gift for my spouse. Out of the box the product made a load mechanical noise (similar to a baseball card in bicycle spokes) – but it produced a nice heated frothed milk. Less than 3 months after first using the frother, it completely stopped frothing. The heating unit continued to work but the spinning disk did not move. I contacted the seller and within 48 hours they requested a video of proof that the frother was no longer working. I provided the requested video 6 hours after receipt of seller's request. Since then, I have not received any communications, and my follow up emails receive NO RESPONSE. Amazon should consider pulling this product and seller from their website. UPDATE: After multiple follow-up contacts over a month's time, manufacturer eventually issued a full refund.

Total game changer
Great frother. Nice capacity for a lot of foam. I've had it for a couple months. It's started out pretty quiet for about a month but I've noticed that the motor seems to be a little louder than usual but still a low sound. Not a big deal though. It works great. Just wanted to mention that the quality of milk matters. For example, I shop at Aldi and I get their oat milk. It doesn't froth as good as a higher quality name brand oat milk. Lower quality almond milk won't hardly froth at all. Get a high quality almond milk. Whole milk and 2% does great. I love the fact that I can warm my milk in case I want a hot matcha latte which I have often or golden milk. I also want to mention that I also use flavored creamer which makes a nice foam. Cold or hot This machine is a space saver. Easy to use. Easy to clean. You get two frothing elements which can be cleverly hidden under the frother when not in use. I use this almost every day.
