Crafted from authentic, repurposed horseshoes, each Handmade Recycled Horseshoe Planter DIY Kit offers a truly one-of-a-kind garden accent. No two planters are exactly alike, reflecting the unique wear and history of the horseshoes used. This kit includes everything you need—high-quality liners and a detailed instruction sheet—to create a distinctive and durable planter perfect for succulents, flowers, or herbs. Ideal for gardeners from beginner to enthusiast, this eco-friendly project combines rustic charm with a personal touch, making it a special addition to any garden.
When our horses and ponies have their shoes changed, our farrier donates the horseshoes to us for recycling. After being carefully cleaned, we organise the horseshoes by size and shape in our workshop. Our skilled blacksmith then expertly welds them together to craft our distinctive horseshoe planters!
Please note that plants and compost are not included in the kit.
We take pride in the fact that, due to being handmade, each horseshoe planter is totally unique. For those looking to add a personal touch, we offer the option to incorporate your own horse's shoes into the design. At The Humble Hare, we believe every customer deserves a unique creation that can be cherished for years to come. If you wish to include your horse or pony's shoes in your custom planter, please reach out to us directly at [email protected].
All items are lovingly handmade to order! Orders for delivery to UK addresses have a lead time of 14 working days.
