Anth. Rabbit Ears is an exceptional hybrid cross between Anth. crystallinum x Anth. pinkleyi, known for its distinctive heart-shaped foliage and robust growth characteristics.
- Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the leaves and affect their distinctive coloration.
- Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-24°C (65-75°F). Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
- Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 70-85%. Use a humidifier or humidity tray to maintain optimal moisture levels.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but well-draining. Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry. Use filtered or rainwater when possible.
Additional Notes:
Foliage Characteristics: Large, heart-shaped leaves with prominent white venation and velvety texture. This hybrid combines the crystalline venation from crystallinum with the robust growth habit of pinkleyi, creating a stunning display of contrasting leaf patterns that make it highly sought after by collectors.
