Tropical Palm Tree for Indoor Decor

The Majesty Palm tree gained popularity as a houseplant in the 1990s and we have loved it ever since!

Native to the coasts of Madagascar, this tropical palm tree thrives in warm and humid environments. With dark green fronds that can reach up to 2-3 feet long when grown indoors, you can add a tropical element to any indoor space.

The Majesty Palm's benefits include adding feng shui, removing toxins from the air, and releasing oxygen to help you sleep at night.

Majesty Palm Care

Wondering how to care for Majesty Palms? It's easy as pie when given the right growing conditions! Majesty Palms like bright full sunlight with at least 6-8 hours a day. Grow the Majesty Palm indoors near a sunny window or in a bathroom with lots of light and humidity.

Majesty Palm outdoor care includes having it in the right growing zones. There are few places outside of Madagascar where this unique palm tree can thrive. If you do decide to try to grow it outside, be sure you are in USDA zones 9-11 which is in several parts of central & south Florida, Texas, and California.

This palm is a slow grower! The Majesty Palm's growth rate is up to 1 foot per year indoors. It has a mature size of 8-10 feet tall and up to 3 feet wide. Grown in the wild, the Majesty Palm height can reach up to 80 feet tall with 8-foot fronds.

Majesty Palm watering is important to keep up with! They like it wet just in their native habitats. Never let the soil dry out between watering and make sure it is kept consistently moist.

Love the way these turned out in my office! I connected 3 shelves in a row across the wall to make one long shelf and it looks great!

Nice looking. Not very sturdy. Easy to install.
Size: 40x7 2Pcs, Color: White, Size: 40x7 2Pcs, Color: White
Update: The shelf slopes at about a 45° angle when you put anything more than about a pound on the outside edge of it. Perfectly fine up against the wall. Just seems like the braces inside aren't long enough to really give the stability needed. Bracket is nice and tight against the wall. Had to add braces underneath to hold a small plant, a photo and a small container. Wa sloping more and more each week The shelves look great and we're pretty easy to install. They have a single bracket that is very easy to mount to the wall and get nice and level.. The downside is that the bracket isn't long enough to go between studs. This seems like a pretty simple oversight. I mean why wouldn't you make it long enough to go stud to stud? Secondly and maybe more fatally the bars that go inside the shelf to support them coming out from the wall are significantly shorter than the depth of the shelf. Unfortunately this means the shelf is only supported the first few inches coming out from the wall so there is the potential for a slight lean forward.. The anchors they send are trash. Cheap soft plastic that just tears and bends with a screwdriver. I would suggest spending $2 and grabbing your own anchors from Ace or home Depot. The shelves are essentially made of a high grade cardboard kind of wood. They are not going to support much weight or last for years and years however there incredibly affordable and look nice and easy to install. Long as your expectations are right you'll be happy.

Great shelves!
Color: Grey, Size: 55 Inch, Style: 2 Pack
This shelf is lovely--simple and modern. My handyman said it was easy to install AND made a note to buy it for his own rental units because he said the internal supports were very sturdy. Fast delivery and exactly as described--and the price is nice, too.

Good size and quality
Easy installation, been up on the wall for several months now and they're exactly what we were looking for. Pretty sturdy, good quality. First order of these came broken but they replaced them no problem.
