Do Citrus Trees Need Special Soil?
Yes! Citrus trees are picky about their roots. They require well-draining, slightly acidic soil that retains just enough moisture—exactly what our potting soil for citrus trees delivers.
Do Citrus Trees Like Acidic Soil?
Absolutely. Citrus plants prefer soil with a lower pH, which is why our citrus planting soil is blended with composted bark and peat moss to naturally lower the pH and keep your citrus happy.
Citrus Tree Potting Soil Ingredients
- Peat moss helps retain essential moisture while allowing excess water to drain away.
- Sand reduces soil compaction.
- Pine bark helps balance soil pH, adds nutrition, and supports excellent root growth.
