How to care for Aeonium Lily Pad Cuttings
Sun/Temperature: Aeonium Lily Pad thrives in full to partial sun. Place it in a location where it can receive bright, indirect sunlight for most of the day. It prefers temperatures between 65℉to 75℉ during the day. Protect it from frost and extreme heat, as it is not cold-hardy.
Soil/Watering: Plant the Aeonium Lily Pad in well-drained soil such as a succulent or cactus mix. Make sure the pot has drainage holes to prevent standing water. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as overwatering can lead to root rot .Temperatures above 90°F or below 40°F you can water less.
Pests and Diseases: for common succulent pests like aphids, mealybugs, and spider mites, treating infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil. While Aeonium Lily Pad is generally resistant to diseases, overwatering can lead to root rot and fungal issues. Ensure proper drainage and avoid water on the leaves.
Pot: Select a pot with drainage holes slightly larger than the plant's root ball. Enhance its appearance by placing it in a wooden or stone container with natural-toned decorations for a cozy atmosphere.
Fertilizer: Feed Aeonium Lily Pad with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer), applying every 4-6 weeks. Avoid fertilizing during the dormant season (fall and winter), as the plant does not actively grow and does not require additional nutrients.
