UNS Bonsai 010 is one of our most intricate designs, meticulously shaped and twisted to resemble a mystical dragon. Handcrafted by artisans to evoke a sense of fantasy and movement, this versatile style is perfect for creating mystical aquascapes or high-concept layouts that require a strong narrative element. This aquarium bonsai tree features extensive surface area, providing the perfect scaffold for scaping epiphytes and mosses to add fine, life-like detail. Available in three sizes, Bonsai 010 will accommodate a range of tank dimensions. The tree can be used alone or in combination with your favorite aquarium stone to create a unique, creative aquascape layout ready for planting.
Key Features and Important Notes
- Each tree is a unique, one-of-a-kind sculpture hand-assembled from natural driftwood. Because no two pieces are identical, you will receive a tree with its own distinct character, texture, and branch placement.
- Aquarium wood serves as a vital biological filter. Its porous surface supports beneficial bacteria growth and provides a natural foraging ground for shrimp and small fish to graze on biofilm.
- This wood is naturally buoyant and requires a thorough soak or boil to sink. For an immediate setup, secure the base to a heavy aquarium stone or use aquarium-safe glue to anchor it in place.
