We love this Anthurium - it really has that tropical jungle with beautiful, distinct leaves. Their highly ornamental bracts are popular with florists the world over. An ideal low maintenance tropical plant for any space. Anthurium andraeanum makes a great al houseplant with its gorgeous elongated leaves and tangled roots.
This plant is typically grown for the cut flower market, where the unusually shaped leaves and flowers make a great contrast to the flowers in the bouquet, but here we are selling the plant which we think is beautiful in its own right. A fantastic foliage houseplant, this Anthurium will look really amazing in any room in your home. It loves humidity, so a shower room or steamy kitchen would also be perfect for it.
Anthurium are actually epiphytes, so in their native habitat grow on other plants and trees; however, they can also grow on the ground. They will love either being placed in a pot on the floor or on a sideboard - although they will ultimately grow quite large.
Making a great houseplant gift for a really special person, these very attractive plants make super stylish presents!
For houseplant gifts, we add an extra special touch. If you include a message at the basket stage of the checkout, we’ll enclose a free, handwritten card along with the houseplant. We’ll leave out the paperwork, too, so no price will be spotted!
