Weeds can cause significant yield loss by competing with crops for water, space, and nutrients, as well as hosting pests and diseases (40-90% yield loss).
To protect commercial crops like Soybean, Groundnut, Black gram, Clusterbean from weeds, farmers must manage them properly. Using herbicides is an important, economical, and time-saving weed management practice.
However, using herbicides with a single active ingredient can lead to herbicide resistance, increasing expenses and wasting time and energy. Therefore, farmers should use herbicides with two active ingredients.
Shaked is a superior herbicide with two different modes of action. It inhibits amino acid and fatty acid synthesis, disrupting DNA synthesis and cell growth, ultimately killing weeds. It contains Propaquizafop 2.5% and Imazethapyr 3.75% with an inbuilt adjuvant for easy use and application.
Shaked is an early post-herbicide with broad-spectrum activity on grasses and broad-leaved weeds. It should be applied at a rate of 4ml per liter on weeds at 2 to 4 leaf stages, with adequate soil moisture.
Shaked requires only 1-2 hours of rain-free period for complete absorption into the leaf system and starts showing action within 2 days of application. It is available in pack sizes of 50ml, 100ml, 350ml, 500ml, and 1ltr.
