Maryland Red Snapdragon seeds are a premium F1 hybrid snapdragon variety bred for professional cut flower production and high-performance home gardens. This Group 2 cool-season snapdragon excels under short days, low light, and cool temperatures, making it ideal for greenhouse and high tunnel growing.
Plants produce tall, upright flower spikes with strong, clean stems reaching 39–60 inches, perfect for floral arrangements and market bouquets. The rich red blooms are fragrant, frost tolerant, and highly attractive to bees and hummingbirds. Pelleted seed form allows for precise sowing, uniform germination, and consistent crop timing.
Best suited for early spring through fall production, this variety performs well in high-density plantings and is not recommended for summer heat. A trusted choice for cut flower growers seeking dependable stem length and color.
Seed Count: 50 pelleted seeds
Scientific Name: Antirrhinum majus
