This stunning Marantaceae species is celebrated for its exceptional ornamental value and vibrant foliage display, making it an ideal choice for collectors seeking colorful prayer plants with dramatic visual impact and reliable growth characteristics.
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can fade colors and damage leaves, but provide adequate brightness for optimal coloration.
- Temperature: Prefers warm conditions with temperatures between 18-26°C (65-79°F). Maintain consistent warmth and protect from cold drafts.
- Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 60-80% with good air circulation to support healthy growth and prevent leaf browning.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but well-draining. Use filtered or distilled water and maintain even moisture levels without waterlogging.
Additional Notes
Foliage Characteristics: Features striking variegated leaves with green centers and cream-white stripes that create an elegant display. The leaves exhibit the characteristic prayer plant movement, folding upward at night and opening during the day, adding dynamic interest to any collection.
