The Precor AMT 885 with Open Stride and P80 Console is a state-of-the-art, next-generation fitness and cardio trainer that has to be experienced to truly appreciate. The Precor Corporation is renowned for its fitness machines, but this particular model may just stand head and shoulders above the rest. Part of the Experience Series 880 line of commercial-built fitness equipment, this Adaptive Motion Trainer (AMT) is designed to mimic the natural movements of the human body. What’s more, its proprietary Open Stride technology and P80 Console make it one of the most innovative treadmills to ever hit the fitness marketplace.
Offering a wide range of ergonomically correct workout options, the Precor AMT 885 with Open Stride and P80 Console is an especially unique machine. It allows users to walk, run, bike and/or climb on the go, without having to stop to reset or reprogram the machine. Perhaps best of all, it affords people the unique opportunity to get a great cardio and strength workout in one—without the joint-pounding drawbacks associated with other machines. That’s because its uniquely designed suspension creates a feeling of literally walking on air.
In addition to the interactive P80 console, which is essentially a monitoring station and electronic entertainment system all in one, the Precor AMT 885 with Open Stride and P80 Console has many cool features. Some of the best of these are its all-in-one design with three sets of handlebars; a fully adjustable stride length of 0 to 36 inches; and an adjustable stride height ranging from 6 to 10 inches. Also standing out on this model are its compatibility with C-SAFE and FitLinxx devices; the chest strap and in-grip heart sensors that monitor users’ heart rates; and the 12 pre-set workouts that allow fitness enthusiasts to get just the right type of workout to meet their specific goals.
