Vermillionaire Firecracker Plant is a compact warm-season subshrub that explodes with countless orange tubular blooms from late spring to frost. Glossy, fine foliage and a naturally mounding habit make a high-impact choice for containers, edging, and pollinator beds.
Distinctive Features
Self-cleaning, nectar-rich flowers resemble firecrackers and attract hummingbirds continuously without deadheading. Heat-tolerant, branching plants hold a tidy outline and color through summer weather.
Growing Conditions
- Sun Exposure: Full sun to partial shade, with afternoon shade in very hot climates.
- Soil: Well drained, moderately fertile soil or high-quality potting mix.
- Water: Keep evenly moist to establish; provide moderate water thereafter with brief drought tolerance.
- USDA Hardiness Zones: 9 to 11 outdoors; grow as an annual elsewhere.
- Mature Size: About 1 to 2 ft tall and 1 to 2 ft wide.
Ideal Uses
- Focal Point: Bright tubular blooms deliver season-long color at eye level.
- Containers: Reliable flowering on patios and porches with regular care.
- Edging: Low, mounded plants define paths and borders cleanly.
- Hanging Baskets: Lightly cascading tips soften rims and pair well with trailers.
- Pollinator Gardens: Nectar-rich flowers support hummingbirds and beneficial insects.
Low Maintenance Care
- Watering: Water deeply, then allow the top inch of soil to dry before the next cycle.
- Pruning: Pinch or shear lightly once or twice in summer to refresh shape and encourage more bloom.
- Fertilizing: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced, dilute fertilizer.
- Mulching: Apply a 1 to 2 inch mulch layer in beds or top-dress containers to conserve moisture.
- Notes: Protect from frost and ensure sharp drainage to prevent root stress in wet periods.
Why Choose Vermillionaire Firecracker Plant?
- Hummingbird Magnet: Tube-shaped blooms are irresistible to pollinators.
- Long Bloom Season: Flowers steadily from planting to frost.
- Heat Ready: Maintains color and form in summer conditions.
- Compact Habit: Fits containers and small-space borders without overgrowing.
- Low Effort: Minimal grooming needed for continuous display.
Plant in a sunny, well drained spot and give a light midsummer trim to keep plants dense and flowering.

Better than expected
Color: Stainless Steel, Color: Stainless Steel
I have to say, it has completely transformed my kitchen countertop organization. From the moment I unboxed it, the quality and thoughtfulness of the design were immediately apparent. The stainless steel construction feels extremely sturdy and durable, giving the holder a sleek, modern look that complements any kitchen décor. Unlike lighter, flimsier holders, this one feels solid and well-balanced, thanks to the weighted, non-slip base, which ensures it stays put even when tearing off a single sheet with one hand.
The spring-loaded tension arm is an absolute game-changer. I can tear off a paper towel effortlessly with just one hand, which is perfect when I’m cooking, cleaning, or juggling multiple tasks. No more awkward pulling or having to stabilize the roll with my other hand—it makes the process smooth and frustration-free.
One of my favorite features is the integrated spray bottle. Having a cleaning solution right on the holder is incredibly convenient. I can quickly grab the paper towel and spray my countertops or stovetop without having to search for a separate bottle, which makes daily cleaning routines much more efficient. The spray bottle is easy to refill, and the design keeps it snug and stable so it doesn’t tip over.
Setup was a breeze it came fully assembled, so I could start using it immediately. The overall footprint is compact, so it doesn’t take up much counter space, but it still accommodates standard-sized paper towel rolls comfortably. Even larger rolls fit without any problem, and the holder handles the weight without wobbling.
Overall, the Ultrean Paper Towel Holder with Spray Bottle combines functionality, durability, and style in one package. It’s perfect for busy kitchens, whether you’re cooking, cleaning, or entertaining guests. The convenience of one-handed tear, combined with the integrated spray bottle and sturdy base, makes it worth every penny. I’ve found myself reaching for it constantly, and it’s made my kitchen workflow so much smoother. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their kitchen organization while adding a practical and stylish accessory.

Functional and beautiful!
Item Package Quantity: 1, Color: Silver
This towel holder is a fantastic find! It is always great when a product exceeds your expectations and this towel holder is exactly that. At first, I was not sure if the price was worth it but when I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. It is solid and well made with a heavy base that makes pulling paper towels with one hand a breeze. The mandrel is thick and provides excellent rotational ability. Overall A+. I highly recommend spending a few extra bucks on a functional piece that enhances the overall appearance of a kitchen.
