When the heat is on and the sun is blazing, Silver River™ Didelta keeps its cool—no sweat, no fuss. With shimmering silver, velvety foliage that practically glows in the sun, this semi-succulent beauty brings bold contrast and irresistible texture to any hot, dry garden space.
Whether spilling gracefully from hanging baskets or filling in upright containers with its silvery sprawl, Didelta plays well with other sun-loving plants while quietly stealing the show. It’s the ultimate wingman for your drought-tolerant designs and a dream come true for water-wise gardeners.
Low maintenance? Absolutely. High impact? Without a doubt. Silver River™ Didelta isn’t just tough—it’s dazzling.
- 8-10 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 8-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
- Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
- Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
- Maintains soft silver foliage spring through frost
- Great for containers, hanging baskets and landscapes
- Heat tolerant, deadheading not required
Care: Avoid overwatering and let the soil dry down a little in between waterings. If your plant begins to look a bit tired or leggy, use a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears to trim back the plant to maintain it's shape and promote new growth.
