Need a little extra reach for your child restraint’s top tether or anchor strap? The Maxi Cosi Child Restraint Extension Strap gives you the flexibility to securely connect car seats in cars where standard-length straps don’t quite reach — perfect for station wagons, hatchbacks, or any vehicle with awkward anchor-point placement.

Choose between two lengths depending on your car’s needs:

  • 300 mm — for modest extra length, ideal in many small-to-medium vehicles.

  • 600 mm — for larger vehicles or when extra slack is required to reach the anchorage point.

This extension strap is compatible with any child restraint manufactured since 1993 that uses a hook anchorage, making it a versatile add-on for most car seats and capsules with the Dorel group.

What we love

  • Two size options (300 mm & 600 mm) — choose the correct strap length for your vehicle setup.

  • Solves tether reach issues — great for cars without a fixed parcel-shelf anchor point (like station wagons, hatchbacks, or vans).

  • Universal compatibility — works with most child restraint seats and capsules that use hook anchorage.

  • Simple, effective add-on — no need to replace the whole seat if tether length is an issue; just add the strap.

  • Affordable and practical — a low-cost solution to common installation problems that can save stress and improve safety compliance.

Why it's for you

  • Perfect if you own a wagon, hatchback, van, or 4WD where standard top-tether straps don’t reach the anchor or you have a split middle seat. .

  • Ideal for families with multiple cars, where not every vehicle’s anchor point is ideally placed.

  • Great for parents who value correct installation and safety compliance — sometimes a simple extension strap makes the difference between installing correctly or not.

  • Excellent if you already own a car seat that works — no need to upgrade or buy a new seat just to fit your vehicle.

Maxi Cosi has 12 month warranty on accessories from the date of original purchase. As well as a dedicated Australian support team back every car seat..

Deeply insightful, thought provoking & right on
Format: Hardcover
In traveling to Thailand years ago I was pleased to learn that the country forbids westerners from taking statues of the Buddha home. The country feared it could end up in an over priced, westernized yoga studio or become a lawn ornament. And I was shocked when a friend told me that “namaste” was a term reserved for one’s elders. You can say it to your grandma but it’s inappropriate to say in yoga class. Liz Bucar’s book sheds light and brings awareness at such a ripe time in our global cultural awaking. As a long time yoga practitioner I wish this book existed years ago. I look forward to sharing it with my community.

So helpful
Format: Hardcover
This is a book that will help you think through the misappropriating of religion in most every aspect of life. I have learned so much from this work and believe that you will as well. Written in an engaging, easy to read style, this work is accessible by anyone who is looking to be more intentional in their understanding of others, their beliefs, culture and religion. This kind of information make navigating the world a safer journey for all of us.

Thoughtful and honest
Format: Kindle
I am so glad I read this! I've heard the term "cultural appropriation" many more times than I can count, but I hadn't thought about it in the context of religion. Bucar's writing is so engaging, and the book is a great blend of narrative non-fiction and theory. I couldn't put it down! Highly recommend.

An important and interesting read; well written and researched
Format: Hardcover
The author uses personal experiences to illustrate and enliven the text. Ms. Bucar challenges us to look at our own reactions, thoughts and practices. I would recommend this book for discussion at my book club.

Not what I was hoping for
Format: Paperback
I've been interested in the topic of religious appropriation ever since I saw my non-Tibetan neighbor hang Tibetan prayer flags on his front porch. And when I lived in Japan, I saw that non-Christian Japanese appropriated all of the trappings of Western Christian wedding ceremonies. So I had high hopes for this book. But it reads like a very looooong, and also very academic sermon on the evils of capitalism, western hegemony, and other such terms. There is not an ounce of humor in any of this book.
