Hydrating, Simple, and Great Everyday Serum
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’m giving The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 5 stars because it’s such a good, simple hydration serum.
It makes my skin feel noticeably more hydrated and plump, especially when I use it on slightly damp skin. I also like that it layers easily with my other skincare and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy.
Overall, it’s an affordable, effective product that I can use every day and always feel good about.

Hydrating Serum That Leaves Skin Smooth and Plump
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This serum feels really hydrating and helps my skin look smoother and more refreshed. It absorbs nicely without feeling too heavy, and my skin feels softer and more moisturized after using it consistently.
I also like that it includes ceramides and vitamin B5, which help support the skin barrier while adding hydration. It layers well with other skincare products and works great for both day and night routines. Overall, a great affordable serum for keeping skin hydrated and healthy-looking!

Affordable and Lightweight Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I absolutely love The Ordinary brand and own quite a few of their skincare products, so I was excited to add this hyaluronic acid serum to my routine. I use it after cleansing my face and before applying moisturizer, and it layers really nicely with the rest of my skincare. One of the things I appreciate most about this product is the packaging. The glass bottle feels high-quality, and the dropper makes application easy and convenient.
The serum itself is very lightweight, and a little bit goes a long way, so the bottle should last quite a while. It absorbs nicely into the skin without feeling greasy or sticky afterward. I also really appreciate the clean ingredients and the fact that there are no added perfumes or strong scents, which is important for my sensitive skin and overall preference for non-irritating skincare products.
As with most skincare products, I know it takes consistency and several months of use before you can truly judge long-term results and improvements in your skin. Because of that, I cannot fully speak yet on how effective it is overall, but so far I have been enjoying using it and have had no irritation or issues. For the affordable price point and quality ingredients, I think this is a great skincare product, and I plan to continue using it and update my review later on with long-term results.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (with Ceramides)
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 with added ceramides is a hydration powerhouse that delivers noticeable moisture and placid comfort to dry, dehydrated, or combination skin. Hyaluronic acid draws water into the skin’s surface layers, helping skin feel plump, soft, and smooth, while vitamin B5 supports enhanced surface hydration and recovery.
Adding ceramides is a smart touch because they help reinforce the skin barrier, locking in moisture and preventing water loss throughout the day. The result is a formula that doesn’t just sit on the surface — it helps improve the skin’s resilience over time.
The texture is lightweight and gel-like, absorbing quickly without leaving a sticky or heavy feel, making it easy to layer under serums, moisturizers, and sunscreen. It works beautifully in both morning and evening routines.
After consistent use, many users notice better overall hydration, smoother fine lines caused by dryness, and a more comfortable complexion — especially during dry seasons or in air-conditioned environments.
Pros:
✔ Deep hydration that lasts
✔ Lightweight and fast-absorbing
✔ Great paired with other products (moisturizers / creams)
✔ Ceramides help support the skin barrier
Cons:
✖ Not a direct treatment for acne or pigmentation
✖ Effects build gradually with consistent use
Overall: A very effective and versatile hydrator that’s easy to use and works well for most skin types. Particularly great if you want lasting moisture and a smoother, healthier-feeling complexion.

Amazing product - instant smoothness
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I've only had this product for the last several days, but, so far, it's AMAZING. I've tried hyaluronic products before, because everyone says that you are supposed to for moisture, but, honestly, I was always underwhelmed. They were thin and did nothing. So, despite this one having great reviews, I was not really expecting anything, but the price was right.
But this product....although liquid and clear, it's got a slight thickness to it, and spreads on very smooth. You only need a little bit to cover your entire face. Despite the slight thickness, it's not gooey or sticky at all, and it dries incredibly fast. In fact, if you don't spread it around onto your face quickly enough, it's already drying. There is no real smell to it. And, as soon as it dries onto your face, your skin feels incredibly smooth. Maybe it wouldn't if you had a significant dry skin problem to begin with, but for regular, maturing skin, it leaves skin baby smooth. And it lasts all day, and my skin looks better.
I have very sensitive skin, and most things on my face eventually make my eyes water (even gentle facial moisturizers and sunscreens), but, so far, I haven't had an issue, and, because it's been a few days already, maybe I won't. Doesn't really feel like I'm wearing anything, and isn't a problem if I want to layer it with something else. I do wash it off at night, and can tell that something is still on my face even at the end of the day because it's a little slippery when I wash it. So it has staying power.
For the price, I would definitely consider trying this product for moisturizing, and instantly smoother and softer skin.
