This spring/summer dress is light and carefree, and is designed to be four dresses in one! With two necklines that can be switched front to back, a tie at the waist that can go either way and pockets, this is a foundational piece for your sustainable wardrobe.
Persephone was Demeter’s beloved daughter, the essence of youthfulness and purity who was carried away by Hades, the god of the underworld, to be his bride. Demeter was so angry and grief-stricken in the absence of her daughter that the earth became barren. Mankind was threatened with starvation until Hades was persuaded to allow Persephone to return to her mother for six months of the year. Thus, their reunion in spring is the beginning of the growing season.
