Called "the biggest red carpet of the fashion industry", "the party of the year", and "the Oscars of the East Coast", the Met Gala without hesitation is the most anticipated event in the fashion industry's calendar. Disrupted by the pandemic, the spectacular event that was traditionally held on the first Monday in May, this year moves to the second Monday of September, bringing fashion lovers from all around the world together near their screens for the new Met Gala.
To celebrate the biggest Gala in the fashion industry and give everyone a chance to join the black-tie extravaganza not only as admiring viewers, but as red carpet stars, DRESSX brings the event to social media worldwide with its 100% digital DRESSX METaverse collection. The collection was inspired by the most successful looks in the Met Gala's history and created to celebrating art, style, and of course American Fashion. Aligned with the topic of this year's exhibition, "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion," and the MET's decision to support the young independent brands instead of big names, with our DRESSX METaverse collection we invite the fashion lovers to celebrate creativity beyond the boundaries and choose their own red carpet look for the party in the METaverse.
Get digitally ready for the MET Gala 2021, post your fabulous looks on social media and tag @dressx to join the largest fashion celebration in the digital world. See you in the METaverse!
