This is one of our most read books right now! My toddler absolutely loves it, and it’s been such a fun way to start learning about the planets. The illustrations are engaging and it keeps her attention the whole time.
I’ve noticed she’s actually starting to recognize and name some of the planets, which is amazing at her age. It’s the perfect mix of fun and educational.
Definitely a great book if you’re looking to introduce your little one to space in a simple and engaging way!

"8 Little Planets" is an absolute delight for young readers and their parents alike! As a parent of a toddler who is just starting to explore the wonders of space, I found this book to be a fantastic introduction to the solar system. The colorful illustrations are vibrant and captivating, immediately drawing in little ones' attention. The rhyming text is fun and easy to read aloud, making it a joy to share this book during storytime.
What I love most about "8 Little Planets" is how it manages to make learning about the planets so engaging. Each planet is given its moment to shine with a little story that is both informative and age-appropriate. The book also subtly incorporates the latest astronomical knowledge, like the reclassification of Pluto, which is a great touch.
It's clear that this book was created with care and attention to detail, and it's become a favorite in our home. Whether you're raising a future astronaut or just looking for a fun way to introduce your child to science, "8 Little Planets" is a stellar choice!

Format: Board book
My niece loved this book. As did I! I always found outer space fascinating, but have forgotten many facts from my youth. When I ordered it, read it through and was very happy about all the information packed I. Such a fun book. There is even an honorary mention of Pluto. Vibrant, fun, factual, EXCELLENT! she got a astronaut costume also, so now she’s got all the tools for her imaginary space travel.
