Question 1

What is the best princess dress to wear for a Disney World trip or castle visit?

Accepted Answer

The best dress for a Disney trip combines luxury fairytale volume with all-day comfort. Our handmade gowns feature our signature no-itch silk-touch lining so your daughter can meet characters, watch parades, and enjoy rides all day without itching or scratching.

Question 2

Do you have Disney-inspired dresses for all the classic fairy tale characters?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our luxury collection features original handmade designs inspired by all iconic storybook characters, including Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, the Little Mermaid, Belle, Alice in Wonderland, and Tinker Bell. Each gown is meticulously designed for milestone portraits and magical vacations.

Question 3

Can moms get a matching Disney trip outfit with a matching mommy and me princess dress?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We specialize in creating high-end mommy and me matching sets for Disney vacations and milestone portrait sessions. Most of our princess-inspired character designs can be adapted into elegant adult sizing through our Bespoke Design Studio.

Question 4

Are princess dresses allowed at Disney parks for character breakfasts and park days?

Accepted Answer

Yes, children under 14 are fully welcome to wear princess costumes and character-inspired gowns at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. Thousands of families wear Calgary and Ballerini heirloom dresses to character breakfasts and castle dinners every year.

Question 5

How long does shipping take if I am ordering for an upcoming Disney trip?

Accepted Answer

Every Calgary and Ballerini dress is handmade to order and ships worldwide in 10 days with duties paid. If your Disney trip is coming up quickly, our fast 10-day turnaround ensures your luxury character gown arrives at your door well before your departure.

Question 6

What size should I order for my daughter's first birthday or milestone portrait?

Accepted Answer

For a first birthday, we recommend ordering the 12–18 month size. Our dresses feature adjustable back ties and flexible waistbands so she can wear it comfortably from her cake smash all the way through her party. When in doubt, size up — the adjustable construction means a larger size will still fit beautifully.

Question 7

Is the dress comfortable enough for a full day at a castle visit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every Calgary and Ballerini gown is lined with our signature no-itch silk-touch lining — the same technology used in professional bridal wear. She can wear it for character breakfasts, special events, and photos all day without discomfort. Over 1,500 verified families have worn our dresses for milestone events and confirmed this comfort.

Question 8

Can she wear the dress more than once?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — our dresses are heirloom quality, not costume quality. Families wear them for birthdays, milestone portraits, holiday events, and special celebrations. Many of our customers pass them down to younger siblings. We recommend spot cleaning for minor marks and dry cleaning only to preserve the intricate handwork.

Question 9

Will the dress look as stunning in photos as it does online?

Accepted Answer

Every detail you see is exactly what arrives. Our dresses are specifically engineered for professional milestone photography — the volume, the fabric weight, the embellishment placement — all designed to photograph beautifully under studio lighting and natural light equally. With over 8.8 million likes across our social platforms, you can see thousands of real customer photos before you order.

Question 10

Do you ship to my country?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We ship worldwide with duties paid and DHL Express tracking. Every order arrives within 10 days of purchase regardless of where you are in the world.

Question 11

What size should I order for my baby's 1st birthday?

Accepted Answer

For a first birthday milestone, we suggest reviewing our detailed sizing parameters. Our luxury gowns are tailored with premium flexible waist structures and dynamic corset-style ribbon ties, ensuring a perfect drape for the big celebration.

Question 12

I'm stuck between the 6–18 month and 1–2 year sizes. What do you recommend?

Accepted Answer

Because our couture dresses offer an adjustable back closure design, we highly recommend sizing up if your little one sits perfectly between standard growth brackets. This guarantees longevity and extended wear options.

Question 13

How do I know if the dress will be too long for my baby?

Accepted Answer

Our skirts are constructed with specific tiering tailored to formal photography lengths. For exact length specifications from shoulder to hemline, please reference our bespoke size chart or submit custom measurements during checkout.

Question 14

Do your dresses have room to grow?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Unlike stiff mass-market costumes, our luxury dresses utilize customizable elastication matrices and adaptive tie closures that flex naturally across multiple growth stages.

Question 15

What size should I choose if my baby is in between sizes?

Accepted Answer

Always opt for the larger size profile. The built-in adjustment ties allow you to easily cinch the bodice for a flawless custom look, giving your daughter plenty of room to grow comfortably.

Question 16

Are the dresses true to size?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our sizes map perfectly to global childrenswear metrics. However, because every child is unique, we invite you to leave custom chest and height notes at checkout for a complimentary custom fit.

Question 17

Do you offer custom sizing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We take pride in ensuring a flawless luxury fit. You can select standard sizing and simply drop your child's precise chest, waist, and height measurements in our order notes box before processing your purchase.
