  • Wide front belt.
  • Narrower ties that wrap around the back and tie in the front.


    • Fabrics, Sundries & Measurements

    Fabrics: Dress weight linen, linen blends, cotton lawn, cotton ikat, and dress weight cottons just about any woven fabric that isn't too stiff or thick. 

    Sundries: Thread, lightweight fusible interfacing. The front has one layer of fusible interfacing but if you are using a very light-weight fabric, you may want to double up and interface both sides of the Front Belt.  

    Tools: Fabric scissors, iron & ironing board, straight pins, tailor's chalk, hand sewing needle.

    This is what you need for most 13.8 Volt power pigtails on portable ham radios. They will safely handle over 200 watts in most applications and the wire is flexible in the cold. I have set it outside as a reality check when it was 18.3F degrees and it flexes essentially the same as at room temperature. The copper itself is very fine strands and will likely never fail from normal use flexing. It solders easily with my 40 watt soldering iron. I will not hesitate to buy more if I need it.
