Why We Love It
The Eleanora in black velvet is the more formal reading of the silhouette. Stretch velvet in deep black has a quiet authority that red doesn't — it absorbs light rather than playing with it, giving the dress a presence that reads dressed-up without announcing itself. The same square neckline, tailored waist, and sweeping maxi skirt carry through, but in black the proportions feel sharper and the occasion possibilities open considerably wider.
