Two vests in one. Purpose-built, not a gimmick.
Most reversible gear is a compromise - mediocre on both sides. The Variant Vest is different. Each side is purpose-built for a specific use.
Side 1: CORE CONSTRUCTION® - weatherproof face when you need wind and water resistance. Wear this side out when weather is questionable or you're caught in surprise precipitation.
Side 2: Smooth nylon ripstop - zero-friction surface for clean layering. Flip to this side when you're wearing it under a shell or jacket and need it to slide smoothly without bunching.
Same vest, different roles. Insulated with proprietary wool-based fill that provides warmth without the bulk or breathability issues of synthetic insulation. Natural temperature regulation and odor resistance through extended wear.
What you're getting:
- Reversible design with two functional sides (not just color options)
- CORE CONSTRUCTION® side for weather protection
- Smooth ripstop side for friction-free layering
- Wool-based insulation breathes while maintaining warmth
- Relaxed fit allows movement and layering flexibility
- Durable construction built to last seasons
Wear the weatherproof side out on mild days when you need wind and water protection. Reverse it under your shell when temps drop and you need insulation that layers cleanly. One piece that adapts to conditions instead of forcing you to carry multiples.
