Chester pedals have long been a staple in the Race Face lineup, with a leading reputation as the high-quality, composite pedal for price-conscious riders. After years of service to riders of all levels, Race Face felt that Chester was ready for an update. Feedback from a community of riders told Race Face they wanted a pedal with a more concave feel and improved grip, and that it be available in multiple sizes.
Raceface addressed these pain points and made additional improvements by considering factors such as pedal shape, platform size, pins, and Q-factor.
The result? The best darn composite pedal ever made by Race Face.
